history always repeats itself. If you study it this is a piece of evidence. The only thing we can change about it is our attitude.

Those who watch History do neither.

when I was in college, I would walk through the block of Greek houses, observe the people there and think, “ignorance truly is bliss.”

Watching this country now reap the fruits of evangelical labor in the 80s and 90s, really is a mindfuck for me.

Anyway. All this to say that I feel this in so many ways.

gosh dang I've been thinking this a lot lately, but didn't have such succinct words for it
