Allow me to address the elephant in the room:
The Trump administration is not setting the course for a four-year term.
The Trump administration is setting the course for an everlasting dictatorship.
If Americans don’t want that, the window to stop them is closing quickly.
It scares me how many people aren't taking this seriously. That window is closing FAST. Yet people are doing the "this is fine" meme -- sitting there just sipping their coffee while a fire rages around them cued to burn them down along with the house they're sitting in very soon if they don't act.
I think it amazes me most that so many in power are like this. Many of them will be among the first the regime lines up and shoots.
@nazokiyoubinbou @Strandjunker We in Germany are watching all this change bewildered and with disbelief, but it's to be feared that many politicians here will follow the same script. And our parents saw where that ends!

@baglava @Strandjunker The fact that nazis have returned even to Germany where it's literally illegal to be one just... You're right, we need heroes again. But it looks like we won't get them. So at the very least the people in power need to get off their thumbs and actually do their freaking jobs.

the oligarchs—the billionaires and their pets—are international. Men like Elon Musk, Rupert Murdoch, the Koch brothers do not see borders as applying to _them_.They want to export fascism everywhere.
