My firefish timeline is broken. 80% of the cases, I am getting an error message, 20%, a stale timeline that's a day old.

@andreasdotorg @admin this looks very familiar.
This is probably a service like cloudflare or cloudfront sending an HTML error page because the underlying JSON-based API is not reachable. Maybe their servers are overloaded, attacked, or have a nasty error that causes a timeout in the request.
