this not good news at all but opportunity to change course remains

holy smokes who could have seen that coming?

The oil industry funds:
1. Tax freedom for profitable oil companies
2. Tax subsidies for creating "cancer alley" refineries
3. Fascist political parties
4. Wannabe theocrats like Moms for Liberty
5. Climate inaction
6. Malign influence campaigns to destabilize democracies
7. Climate denialism
8. Putin's genocidal war on Ukraine
9. Global extinction of species, including our own
10. Anti-immigration policies as the number of climate refugees rises
11. Civil rights rollbacks

yea humans need to clue in that in low humidity areas , wildfires are impossible to just put out . British columbia is transitioning from from having lots of wet in the fall winter spring to more desert like . It happened in my life time . Natural climate change happens over thousands to millions of years .
