change needs to be managed. People don't like to lose functionality when change happens.

And when the new system doesn't do what the old system used to do...you get reversion. Backwards compatibility is hard.

And it's a sign that the user is not the focus for OpenAI.

it's not about "feelings"... It's an inferior product with a purposefully confused naming that was deployed with the sole intent of exctracting higher profits. It's really that simple.
