If your post can't be comprehended 50 years from now by digital wizards who have written a mastodon client for a century-old speak & spell connected to the internet via Morse code bounced off the moon and powered by potatoes, it must not be important 
(ok maybe this last example is a bit much, but why take that chance??)
⏚ ⸫Rant also applies to AI generated alt text that either does not contain any useful information at all ("a computer screen with text"), or such a detailed description of the image it defeats the purpose and also could be published as a short novel
@ScriptFanix @dotjayne Also, the detailed descriptions are likely to be incorrect in the details! Like describing the wrong number of buildings with made-up characteristics.
Indeed. I've also seen instances where the image is described in excruciating details, yet missing what was actually significant...
