The goal of therapy isn’t to “fix” people but instead help them understand themselves. Unfortunately some people actually need fixing.

I once met the "meditation guru" for Elon Musk, and seeing how that guru behaved told me everything I need to know about how Elon behaves.

(I like meditation, but it doesn't suddenly make everyone super-compassionate; sometimes it just makes jerks more focused jerks)

@drewpickard @carnage4life it was after aspen ideas festival in 2015 (the guru had given a talk and we happened to be on same airplane)...sooo before? i havent watched most seasons of SV, it was too real :)
