Gavin Newsom threw trans people under the bus, palled around with fascists on his podcast, and gleefully filmed himself destroying houseless peoples' tents, but then he was mean to republicans on social media so everyone is praising him. I hate this country.

Keep a very close eye out for the "But it's okay because he's our weird lil' white guy protofascist" folks... I thankfully don't have many of those friends anymore but they really do give off "I don't mind the fashy shit, I just don't like the current guy being so tacky " vibes.

I think the trolling is funny, but we need to keep banging the drum that he isn't a good guy. If he gets the dem nom then a LOT of voters will be very disinterested

@ATLeagle @erin The Dems have made it clear they care more about donors than voters. Barring some unexpected turn of events, they will double down on pushing “centrist” (aka, pro-genocide, pro-billionaire) candidates in the next elections, assuming we have any.

I've been trying to not talk about this with
my liberal friends that are all riding this news thing as if it's good.
Gavin Newsom is just as much a hitler threat as trump.
He's fighting back by people cheering him to "fight fire with fire".
I don't trust that from the best politician, certainly not from him.

(for the liberals I'm not saying I want him to stop, just that
i am not gonna cheer this on as a great thing. this just shows
what politicians mean when they say "democracy")
