Honest opinions please. People still taking precautions about covid (masking or limiting social contact) are:

@graydon @graydon I think my answer is slightly different for masking vs. limiting social contact

masking: totally sensible, I feel guilty for not doing it myself.

Limiting social contact: I personally think this would affect me far more adversely, and do not have any desire to isolate. Of course I don't mind if other people do, it's their choice and their risk assessment may very well differ from mine.

@sliminality @graydon Yeah, for my personal situation, at this point I think lack of social contact is worse for my health than the risk of the virus. But I completely understand if others are in a different situation to myself.

@sliminality @graydon I still mask on transit but not limiting social contact (but I do have friends who don't go out when they're sick)

on my end, if I know I have covid/flu, I would definitely avoid people. If I feel like I might have a cold, I will still go to work, for example (as required by our "flexible work arrangement reset" policy of course)
