I sooo fear and know when we are getting new washing machine it will need to connect to the internet and shortly afterwards I'll have to buy a new washing machine because I have taken a sledge hammer to the first one as soon as it starts the annoying and VERY LOUD beeping that all white good are now programmed to do every 5min

@woollypigs @neil Do. Not. Download. Its. Software. The washer will run fine, like a boss even, without that surveillance sht. Really. I have an LG washer dryer, without the software. It’s amazing!

The LG TVs work fine without Internet too. C8 here, still looks fine.

Our fridge runs fine without an internet connection, too. Not really sure what it would do differently (for us) if we did put it online. And our robot vacuum works without the app, even though it can’t store a map of our house in the cloud, darn the luck.
