"Mult postal services around Eur suspending shipment of many packages to US amid lack of clarity over import duties
Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Italy will stop immediately. France, Austria Mon, UK Tues
India temp suspend Mon except letters, docs gift items up to $100" https://www.cbsnews.com/news/european-postal-services-suspend-us-packages-shipment-tariffs/
I'm in Canada - UPS recently very strongly advised me not to send a package to the US (warranty repair item). Said high risk of large tarrif (30-50%) or the package becoming "lost". Pretty bad if UPS willing to turn down business.
I posted a letter to USA on 1st Aug..
Got to Customs in New York 4th Aug.
Still there 19 days later.
RIP USA.
@nlskies @GottaLaff my lawyer essentially told me the same thing. due to my job I have clients all over the place and I've gradually started terminating contracts and stopping work for US based clients. Moved all my data off US servers. I won't even send any files to remaining clients in the US. Stuff I would have to send via mail was told to not even bother as again it'll likely get "intercepted" I was told or "lost".
Same in Europe...
