great update. ted over at shademap.app also has a huge set of knowledge around mapping trees - i know bc we grabbed coffee together last year here in seattle and spent like 3 hours just talking about it. he might be an interesting connection for you especially if you eventually want to get into the "shade / sunlight" side of mapping too bc he's the leading expert out there
