Why are people clamoring for

files now when DOJ could have easily released them but did not?

As @Strandjunker said, "

and Jeffrey Epstein could not have sold women and girls for sex without wealthy men buying women and girls for sex"

There is a probable explanation for why Biden failed to nail Trump in every single case (

, , GA , ), including letting evidence become time-barred and expire

@rameshgupta @Strandjunker Merrick Garland was regrettably too worried about possibly making DOJ appear to be a partisan instrument, especially with regard to Trump's obvious involvement in the criminal practices of his decade-long bro Jeffrey Epstein, instead of just following the normal course of investigation, prosecution & indictment for crimes committed.
Fatal omission IMO.
Now MAGA side wants to have its assumptions & conspiracy theories about suspected Dem allies of Epstein confirmed, completely fading out the fact, that Donald Trump had been Epstein's closest sex-bro for at least a decade, while "Republicans" are themselves hilariously nourishing rumors about Trump's Epstein-associated sex crimes by keeping all relevant docs locked away...

@rameshgupta @Strandjunker In the framework of a normal pro-American administration the President does not interfere with & direct the Department of Justice to publish sensitive intelligence.
Therefore it's been up to Garland, not Joe Biden, whether or not to have TrumpEpstein-related materials published.

@ArenaCops @Strandjunker

Biden appointed Garland. Also, if the linked NBC report above is to be believed, Biden did interfere.

"Biden is … not inclined to see his DOJ investigate Trump.

…he believes investigations would alienate the more than 73 million Americans who voted for Trump.

Biden … vowed to sign an executive order declaring that any member of his administration would be fired if found to "initiate, encourage, obstruct … specific DOJ investigations or prosecutions for any reason""
