I just had a weirdly sobering exchange with a brilliant engineer and a manager. I fleshed out a proposal for a feature request on 3rd party products, including a test case. Both of them, independently, claimed that it's already implemented. Completely ignoring:

- The test case
- Any empathy towards the users and practical UX of existing solutions
- Availability of partial implementation (premium only)
- Any slightly deeper testing

Neither of them provided a screenshot, a video, simple description of 3 steps how does the functionality work for them nor a theory why it does not work for me (the premium case). Just "works for me".

And that made me think that having this ... "feeling" for things is not given.
