Is there a way to get Final Cut 11 to use more of my CPU core?

I want to match all the host's lighting, and the new magnetic mask feature is a great way to do that. But the operation looks like it will take hours per master video, even on an M4.

I observe FCP11 using more cores for other operations, but I too see a lot of performance left on the table when magnetic mask is analysing. I can't help but speculate that the way its been implemented is stuck in a small number of threads.

They mention final Cut pro, so I think this can do what you want.
