i wouldn't know why they were blocking people on Github of all places, but on Twitter at first it was because some users criticized that Godot was playing with the term woke and bringing politics into the conversation.

I might not agree with the criticism but a project of public interest should have handled the situation with more grace, these kinds of comments should have never been meritoy of a block.
