One thing that often pisses me off about people is how much they love to undervalue digital security and privacy in their lives. When it comes to physical world they all hold a pretty reasonable stance on many things (like, they do have a lock on their door and they do not want to have an NSA agent around them to write down everything they say and they prefer to talk privately in banks about their finance).

But once it comes down to digital world, that logic simply disappears. And i can't understand why considering that in digital world everything is so much more prone to be logged and traced than in physical world, its just makes so much sense to be more cautious about what you do online and yet people do the opposite.

And mainly it pisses me off because people start to put out some sort of schizo claims once you explain to them why they have to be more serious about their digital hygiene. Like, bro, its not schizo — there is a bunch of OSINT tools that are publicly avialable that can pinpoint a bunch of stuff you do and say online on multiple platforms exactly to you. And often all it takes is one damn username you use across multiple platforms and that damn one password you use for everything thats been breached years ago by some ass looking site.

End of the list
