My textile artworks are hand stitched, predominantly using locally sourced, hand dyed wool. Using a free hand technique, I “paint with thread and yarn”.

I boost art & photography here (where they have alt text). I have a personal account for more controversial discussion and you may find I follow you from that one.
I've just spent a pleasant half hour looking for new artists to follow on fedi. I searched hashtags watercolour, oilpainting and mixedmedia. It brought up some interesting accounts but it was VERY obvious that most accounts don't add I find this really disappointing as I don't boost posts with no alt text. I will encourage alt text by commenting and Alt4Yous but I wonder if there is another way to encourage alttext on pixelfed in general?
Elk is a nimble Mastodon web client. You can login to your Mastodon account and use it to interact with the fediverse.
