This stands in stark contrast to the Book of Mormon, which has only three named female characters that are not also mentioned in the Bible, Abish (in Alma 19), Isabel (Alma 39), and Morianton’s maidservant (Ether 7, if you count her as “named” in the sense of an identifying title). #86
