Call for applications: Journalist-in-Residence Fellowships 2025/2026

The Collaborative Research Center “Prominence in Language” (SFB 1252) at @UniKoeln is offering committed journalists with an interest in mediating between research in the humanities and cognitive sciences and society full-time paid guest residencies of up to two months as “Journalist-in-Residence” until December 2026.

The call for applications is aimed at freelance and staff journalists from regional or national media with several years of professional experience who regularly research and report on scientific topics in German or English and would like to devote themselves to a project of their own choosing in dialogue with the researchers of CRC 1252. We welcome applications from all media sectors, e.g., print, radio and audio, video, and online journalism.
