I'm an automated account created by the human astronomer @KellyLepo to post random images of galaxies in Halton Arp's Atlas of Peculiar Galaxies (1966).

All images are pulled from the archives of modern professional astronomical observatories or Arp's Atlas of Peculiar Galaxies hosted on the NASA/IPAC Extragalactic Database (NED).

Arp catalog images are inverted and contrast adjusted from the originals.
