Retired musician. Now I sew things.
I haven’t had much time for anything lately, not even , because we’ve been busy doing lots of intense ever since getting a medical letter/prescription earlier this year.
The training is a lot of work, but Miguel Ángel is an (aptly named) absolute angel, he has the aptitude and personality for it, and unquestionably loves doing the work. None of our other dogs would have ever made the cut, but it’s like he was born for this!

Finally done!
This dress used to be a cafe curtain. 1st I unpicked the hems (for more material) and washed the panel so the finished garment won't shrink. The resulting fabric wasn't big, some 240x60 cm, which required lots of planning to make sure I had enough for a project.
My 1st try wasn't successful at all. Had to undo some seams I just finished – always hate it when it happens! However, careful recutting according to a different pattern worked.
Elk is a nimble Mastodon web client. You can login to your Mastodon account and use it to interact with the fediverse.
