I am accepting new coaching clients!

If you are a writer, aspiring author, or just someone who uses writing in their work and you want to improve your writing, please contact me. I would love to help you reach your goals.

My specialties are adult genre fiction (thriller, mystery, soft sci-fi/fantasy, historical, women's fiction), memoir, self-help, and true crime.

Sorry, no romance or horror.

29 August: Talk about an experience you've had with plagiarism.

I've had to counsel a number of clients about what plagiarism is and how I discovered it in their manuscript.

Wikipedia tends to be the biggest hiccup for people. They think b/c it's free, they can copy the text and pass it off as their own. FALSE!

If you didn't write it, you need to

-indicate the material you're quoting
-indicate who did write it
-potentially secure permission
-potentially pay a fee.
