We went to the pub to watch baseball tonight because we gave up cable & love to listen on radio but sometimes treat ourselves to a beer & a show, so to speak. I brought my famous cookies because the barkeep loves them. She says she has had a crappy week and I had brightened that considerably. Little kindnesses matter. Anyhow, she was bored so I showed her my bracelet that I made from a rock I found in my yard. She loved the idea of making things from rocks & showed me pictures of her rocks. 1/

I believe it is none of my business what you do to find happiness as long as you are not harming others and I will support your journey. My life's goal is to learn everything or die trying.
A question for native (and non native, I guess) English speakers:
Were you taught to diagram sentences in school?
If so, roughly at what age were you taught, roughly how old are you now, and in what nation?
I'm just curious. I learned it in 8th grade (13-14) and am 50 in USA. I found it very helpful to formalize the rules of grammar in my mind. I'd be impressed if Americans much younger than me were exposed to it. It's pretty hard, and I'm under the impression that they'd mostly given up teaching hard things in schools by my day.
