I was busking today at a station I hadn't been to for a few weeks. A woman stopped and said, "I was here a few weeks ago. I passed you, went to the Tim Hortons, and when I came back you were gone and there was $7 on the ground. I've been walking around with it in my pocket ever since so I could give it back to you." She dropped it in, then added a bit more of her own. I was overwhelmed with the kindness, and the dedication to kindness. These moments are precious in times like these. Sigh, and it's times like these when writing from your heart sounds corny, but it's just real.
