had a fun little side quest yesterday. did the usual server farm update loop for the beginning of the month and noticed the iot hub server has been up 17 weeks. so auto pilot, shut down the pods, dnf update, shutdown -r now, and wait. and wait. and wait. and wait. well shit. Walk down to the basement, see the little note I left myself on the server "don't reboot" and ..... let's reinstall the server. at least all servers are now the same os and I got some data recovery practice

playing around with the m5stack unit midi sam2695 chip, wish the mic pin was broken out, but.... maybe open it later. controlling it with a pico running micropython. of course I am going to start writing a lib for a EOL chip
