I've thought of nuking my YouTube account for a long while now because I don't feel safe nor comfortable in the platform anymore, with Google increasingly embracing corporate neofascism along with their genai mania ruining everything.
And now It turns out that they're feeding everyone's videos to their genai bullshit. I don't wanna be in a platform that can deface the work and art of myself and others for the purpose of capitalistic and/or techbro bs
I mean I already hated YouTube for many other reasons, but I fucking had enough.
I will reupload the videos I submitted on YouTube via other platforms like the peertube instance I'm on (makertube.net), and I'll also try to promote more people to use these places.

I don't fucking want to live and cope under corporate fascism, nor the complete loss of my own rights when it comes to the Internet... or anywhere tbh.
I want to fight back and be loud about this shit as I can.
I am writing this post so you know my plans to divest from YouTube and Google/Alphabet INC; so it's not a complete unexpected surprise when stuff like my YouTube account is suddenly gone
