Mitschauer können auch Passwörter, Zahlungsdaten oder ähnlich private Informationen einsehen, die während des Lives auf dem Bildschirm zu sehen sind, oder aktiv aufploppen.
Kinder sollten daher davor gewarnt werden, wenn sie in Lives aufgefordert werden, eine App zu öffnen, bei der man sich anmelden muss, oder der Username zu sehen ist.
