So, I鈥檓 leaving this instance.
Ha, no, I鈥檓 not leaving the fedi and I鈥檓 not shutting it down immediately.
It鈥檚 just time to move on from Mastodon as it鈥檚 not a project I want to support. I鈥檝e been pretty vocal about my frustration with the direction it鈥檚 gone in recent memory and there are other projects I find much more interesting.
I wanted to make a quick announcement so folks know it鈥檚 actually me when they see the my handle from another instance.
Also I wanted to shout out @cairobraga who put me onto the excellent Slurp by Vyr Cossont that has made migration easy and relatively painless. Definitely check it out. https://github.com/VyrCossont/slurp
