By way of a reintroduction. I am from BC’s north coast (NW Coast of Canada). I am a member of Gitxaała First Nation. I spent my first 25 yrs working as a commercial fisherman (and a student) and my next 25 yrs as a prof of at . I study resource dependent coastal communities in N.Am. and Europe (Ireland & Brittany). I’m also involved in local governance issues at my university and in my community. I author an online news paper called "A Campus Resident."
Elk is a nimble Mastodon web client. You can login to your Mastodon account and use it to interact with the fediverse.
