Since its inception in 2008, Stack Overflow was hosted on bare metal servers. This year, we finally moved to the cloud and decomissioned our data center racks.

I will always have a soft spot for https://meta.stackexchange.com/ and https://meta.stackoverflow.com/ -- my activity in those communities led to @codinghorror hiring me in 2010.

And before the servers were scrapped, one of our SREs saved me the face plate of NY-WEB10, one of the two web servers that hosted those sites over the years. I love it

Elk is a nimble Mastodon web client. You can login to your Mastodon account and use it to interact with the fediverse.

Expect some bugs and missing features here and there. Elk is Open Source and we're actively improving it as a community project. Join us and let's build it together!
