Note that the Apple 16-sector state machine works perfectly well for both 13- and 16-sector use. There's no need to ever used the 13-sector state machine.
Obviously the same does not apply to the boot code.

yup, I recall you mentioned that in a previous message. But in the end, it costed almost nothing adding a jumper+resistor for that EPROM too, so I ended up adding it anyway.

Just in case someone wants to try some changes on the state machine and have them easily reverted.

It's worth adding this info in the readme though.
