A month ago ‘Alphabetum Romanum’ was published, a facsimile of a manual for cutting ancient Roman capitals in stone, originally made around 1480 by Felice Feliciano.

Geert de Koning (Factotem Pers) used polymer printing plates to print the colourful capitals as if it was printed with traditional letterpress printing. I was asked to write an introductory text which, much to my delight, was set in my Scala typeface. Impeccable printing and binding.

You can order it at www.factotumpers.nl
