I'm a philosophy academic who also dabbles in development and a FOSS enthusiast. I always liked mastodon, but never really had anyone to talk to! I set up a new account when I saw there was growth this week. I joined this instance as I saw it recommended and thought it would be good to connect with other humanities folk.

Philosophy-wise, I'm a bit of a generalist. My PhD is in Heidegger, Bergson and Kant. I am a long-time executive member of the British Society for Phenomenology and help run their conferences and run their podcast. I'm currently interested in the history of political thought and phenomenological practice outside the academy.
