Caveat: I know NYC could do better with regard to bicycle infrastructure. But. I had such an awesome ride yesterday morning that was through 3 boroughs and at least 60%, possibly more, was protected bike lanes. It was just so pleasant and I realized how much better things are now than they were when I started exploring the city by bike just about a decade and a half ago. So many more protected bike lanes. So much more bike route signage. Hopefully things just keep improving.
