Former radio DJ, now the creative director for a local media company. I do voiceover work on the side and, as a hobby, write TV shows that will probably never get produced, mostly because they're all unfinished. I have been known to edit digital audio down to the very bit.
Oh, and yes, that IS me in my profile picture. That was my very first job in radio (as a volunteer) at the now-defunct WMCU in Miami. I was eight years old, and I got my start in a major market because my mother knew the station manager.
That's also the day I fell in love with the Electro-Voice RE20, and I've wanted one of my own ever since... which will be an achieved goal very soon.
Hallett Street Viaduct Current Status: NOT SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THAT
(The garbage truck struck the bridge, which is low over the road due to the time at which it was built. Raising the bridge would be a massive project that closes several other streets in the city, while lowering this street involves replacing all the utilities in the right of way and creating a new drainage system. The latter is actually the more feasible, but the city and the railroad have been putting it off for decades.)
Elk is a nimble Mastodon web client. You can login to your Mastodon account and use it to interact with the fediverse.
Expect some bugs and missing features here and there. Elk is Open Source and we're actively improving it as a community project. Join us and let's build it together!
