You know how all countries everywhere pay taxes in order to pay for the infrastructure that supports their every-day civilisations?
How we pay taxes to pay for roads, which bring us goods to our areas even if we don't drive? Etc?
Yeah, I think it's about time some of those taxes went to the software that does exactly the same thing by being foundational to modern society we all use and rely on.
Seriously.
Taxes should support major Open Source projects.
