Removing features like from the web platform is wrong because a) it is unbelievably hard to become part of the platform in the first place, so the platform should go to extremes to avoid it (well, maybe even trying to upgrade from v1 to V2 would be something), and b) in doing so, they are setting other people's money and time on fire
