I feel like I am going fucking insane.

Just found https://github.com/bytedance/UI-TARS-desktop via some AI slop Twitter account that showed up in my feed and I"m just sitting here wondering...why?

I'm old enough to remember when the promises coming from AI companies were "we're going to cure cancer" or "solve climate change" and other laudable goals, regardless that this was always bullshit, they at least shot for the moon.

Now they're...opening files? Looking up the latest issue on a Github repo? Really?
