It seems that something has changed with Google’s recent updates regarding 301 redirects. New domains and URLs sometimes get indexed, sometimes not — and even when they do, they tend to rank very low or not appear at all in search results. In many cases, the old domains are still showing up instead. A few of my colleagues are also experiencing similar issues.

Is there something we’re missing here?
