Yesterday’s sunset (with a half-moon). Remnants of a stray thunderstorm. Normally in August the TX grass is all brown and crispy, but we’ve got lovely lush pasture due to lots of unseasonable mid-summer deluges. I’m loving this because a) it’s pretty, and b) there’s so much free wild forage I don’t have to feed the goat$. The deer are also pretty fat, so I’m spared having to take pity on their usual scrawny August misery and feed them as well. Water, man. It’s everything. Photo by my sidekick Rae.
