I have had Americans ask me if they can could to BC to get COVID-19 vaccines if they are prevented for some reason in the USA. (Like RFK bans all vaccines or something like that.) They would of course be willing to pay for them.
I just talked to a pharmacist, and the answer he gave was no. It's not that the pharmacists buy vaccines and then later bill the province for them, the province has already bought the vax. The vax which is in the pharmacies belongs to the BC government and is for BC residents (and, to a lesser extent, for other Canadians who come visit BC and get a shot while they are here).
Sorry, Americans. We can't be your escape clause.
