Half way through the blog post, I kind of believed cody is making progress on original objective even with very little knowledge. As I reached the end, I am not sure what's the intent to write the blog post at all. Cody didn't help anything. The author made the actual progress. Cody just gave generic advice.

I am starting to write my own finance manager.

I am re-reading Compiling to Assembly from Scratch. This is only assembly book that I could feel I can complete. I tried so many and gave up after a chapter or two.
