Hello! Where to begin? I'm a former who got a PhD in 2019, studying the history of the anti-apartheid movement in the United States. In 2020, I completely switched gears and became a software engineer, but still moonlight as a freelance . I write too much about . My taste in is all over the map, I'm always looking for new projects and work, and I spend too much time playing .

My latest for Dame! The best way to understand Trump's foreign policy is that it's really an obsession with weakness and believing that the country is weak -- hence the need to return it to strength. It's a neurosis and it guides our foreign policy.

My newest piece and the first for Truthdig. Trump and RFK are endorsing dangerous ideas about mental health by wanting to bring back hospitals. At its core is a latent anti-urbanism with its roots in the 19th century, which I got to talk about here. This is a bleak one.
