Having just been diagnosed w/ bresbyopia, an intro to the research I destroyed my eyes w/ over the past few years:

In my European Journal of

article, I argue for viewing sovereignty as dynamic, whereby associated conditions, like recognition, fluctuate, and for studying historical contexts to understand how recognition is earned or lost and challenge sovereignty as a static system of inclusion/exclusion.
