I just calculated everything we paid for hosting & domain registration this year so far, and our donation rate is looking good enough to cover costs with a bit of safety margin. So I went ahead and made a voluntary donation to the Lhaq'temish Foundation equivalent to 10% of our hosting costs. I haven't found a way to do recurring donations to them or any other local native nonprofit, so I'll just do it periodically by hand. https://nativegov.org/news/voluntary-land-taxes/ https://www.lhaqtemish.org/

The Getty Institute just launched a new online publication “Ed Ruscha's Streets of Los Angeles: Artist, Image, Archive, City", which includes several map visualizations we created to explore the vast digitized collection of Ruscha’s photographs of LA over the years.
The entire publication is online, including videos, visualizations, zoomable images, and more: https://www.getty.edu/publications/ruscha/
