Ooft, a swing and a miss. When you platform a niche bad idea, you're spreading it and it finds more supporters. That goes for Alberta separatism, for sovereign citizens, and even for suicide! The media has long avoided reporting details of the latter, because it leads to copycats. Explicit endorsement isn't required to do damage!

There are so many groups that want to dupe the

. If the CBC's editor in chief is truly so naive as to the methods and goals of these groups, then (a) that explains a lot, and (b) Canada desperately needs better at this moment in history
