@grooms @mako I'm presently feeling a bit of shell-shock from all of the networks, which is ironic because I'm not a heavy user; far too introverted for that. But I'm deeply interested in the underlying tech.
A big reason Bluesky attracts me is their approach to federation and the platform principal that users own their content AND their identity. If a bsky host shut down, it'd take just minutes to move your identity, posts, follows/ers, likes, and blocks elsewhere.
Elk is a nimble Mastodon web client. You can login to your Mastodon account and use it to interact with the fediverse.
Expect some bugs and missing features here and there. Elk is Open Source and we're actively improving it as a community project. Join us and let's build it together!
