Yes. ‘Razor throat’ is a characteristic of the new, highly contagious variant. It wiped my Hubby and I out at the same time, throats so painful neither of us wanted to eat. Only eating bare minimum like cold soup and Halls candies, I lost 5kg in a week.
Please mask up, avoid unventilated crowded spaces as much as possible and take care!
