@LaPenguin that's how I spell it over the phone: some cake without the E's.
It's pronounced sahm kaak. It was a made up name for a beloved cat, Smokey Joe Joe. At the dawn of my interwebs journeys in 1999, it was an easy name to get an account with. Since then, it's the only interwebs name I use.
Elk is a nimble Mastodon web client. You can login to your Mastodon account and use it to interact with the fediverse.
